The donkey shelter is open from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. The entrance fee is friendly priced and the proceeds are used to care for the donkeys. The donkey shelter is easily accessible by car.

When it comes to food, you can enjoy anything on Bonaire. From Italian pizza to Caribbean seafood and American burgers. There are plenty of restaurants and eateries in Kralendijk, Rincon, and on the south and east coasts. Many restaurants have a unique location and a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.

If you are looking for local specialties, you should definitely visit a “Snekkie” on Bonaire. These are casual bars and eateries where you can enjoy friendly priced very cold beers, “Sopi di Piska” (fish soup), “Stobas” (stews), “Pastechi” (pie) or Arepas (corn dough sandwich).
