• Climate and Seasons •
On Bonaire you are assured of dealing with a tropical climate. Specifically a tropical savannah climate. Characteristic for this climate are the small temperature differences within the calendar year and the not too large amount of rainfall on an annual basis. There is a difference within the seasons: the first half of the year is drier on Bonaire than the second half of the calendar year. However, there is no monsoon period or a heavy rainy season.
Bonaire's tropical climate has a fairly constant temperature. The average maximum temperature throughout the year is somewhere between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius. Sometimes you have to deal with a slightly cooler period (still about 27-28 degrees celcius) or a slightly warmer period (33-34 degrees celcius). Above 34 degrees is rare. The minimum temperature fluctuates between about 24-25 degrees during our winter to about 26-27 degrees in the summer months. In short: the weather on Bonaire is always great. Day and night.
